Research cell:
The Research Cell, located on the ground floor of the Administration Block, oversees all research-related activities, including Ph.D. admissions, examinations, research monitoring and evaluation, and the conduct of Ethics Committee meetings. The Research Cell is headed by the Dean (Research) Dr. Ashok Kumar, along with a dedicated team. It also manages the processing and monitoring of research work undertaken by postgraduate students of the Medical Faculty.
Ph.D. Research (2025–26)
During the academic years 2023 to 25, a total of 71 students are currently registered and pursuing Ph.D. programmes (2025–26) across various disciplines, actively engaged in advanced research.
In the field of medical sciences, research students are working on key areas such as oxidative stress, inflammatory markers in disease diagnosis, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), cardiovascular diseases, hypothyroidism, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and lifestyle disease management.
In the Faculty of Management, research students are conducting research on contemporary topics including digital fraud management, trade dynamics, wind energy economics, and the application of artificial intelligence in financial products.
Additionally, research students in basic and life sciences—including chemistry, mathematics, English, and Hindi—are engaged in research addressing current scientific developments and pressing social issues.
