Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups Cell

In compliance with the principle of equitable justice outlined in constitution of India, the UGC has broadened the Socio Economically Disadvantaged Group (SEDG). In accordance with UGC guidelines, university has established Socio Economically Disadvantaged Group Cell. The primary goal of this cell is ensuring opportunities for inclusive, equal, and quality higher education to the SEDGs students. SEDGs Cell shall function as an independent body, without any hinderance or interference to the functioning and mandate activities of other Cells in the HEIs. Also to ensure the protection of the constitutionally guaranteed rights, dignity, safety, and security of all individuals belonging to the SEDGs and also ensure them equalizing access and opportunities to pursue higher education with the help of the existing statutory bodies such as SC/ST Cell, Equal Opportunity Cell, empowering them to actively and equally participate in the academic, intellectual, social, and cultural activities of the university. With approval of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Socio Economically Disadvantaged Group (SEDG) Cell at KM  University of Applied Sciences is constituted with Following Members.
