conducting the K.M. University Veterinary Entrance Test
(KMUVET–2026) for admission to
Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry
(B.V.Sc. & AH) degree programme offered by the
School of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry,
K.M. University, Mathura, for the academic session 2026–27.

KMUVET-2026 Eligibility Criteria
Age
- Candidate must have attained a minimum age of 17 years as on 31 December 2026.
Essential Qualification
- Candidate should have passed 10+2 / Intermediate Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as a core course.
- General category candidates should have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying subjects.
- SC/ST or other special category candidates require 47.5% as specified under the applicable VCI-MSVE regulations.
- Candidates should have qualified in KMUVET-2026.
- Candidates educated outside India must produce an Association of Indian Universities equivalence certificate.
- Candidates whose marks are declared in CGPA/OGPA must provide equivalent marks and the conversion formula certificate at admission.
KMUVET-2026 Admission & Selection Process
- Admission shall be based on merit in the K.M. University Veterinary Entrance Test (KMUVET-2026).
- Candidates shortlisted according to merit must participate in counseling and document verification.
- Candidates must produce all required original documents along with prescribed copies.
- After successful document verification and fulfillment of admission requirements, the allotment letter will be issued.
- Selected candidates must report to the University within the notified period.
- Candidates must complete physical/document verification, medical and other admission formalities.
- Prescribed admission/semester fee must be deposited within the stipulated time.
KMUVET-2026 Examination Pattern
- Mode: Objective / Multiple Choice Questions on OMR Sheet
- Medium: English & Hindi
- Total Marks: 200
- Total Questions: 100
- Physics: 25 Questions
- Chemistry: 25 Questions
- Biology: 50 Questions
- Negative Marking: No negative marking
- Syllabus: Class 12th Uttar Pradesh Board / CBSE or equivalent
Reporting & Commencement of Classes
- After completion of admission formalities, candidates must report to the S.M. College of Veterinary Sciences, K.M. University, Mathura.
- Reporting shall be done on the date notified by the University.

- Counseling schedules and seat-allotment information will be notified by the University.
- Any change issued by VCI, Government of India, Government of Uttar Pradesh or another competent authority shall prevail over this notification.
